エイベックス、EDMに特化した新レーベル「avex EDM」設立

エイベックスが新たにEDMに特化したレーベル「avex EDM」を設立した。

このレーベルは、ユーロビートやトランスなどダンスミュージックでムーヴメントを起こしてきたエイベックスが、EDMをこれまで以上に積極的に紹介していくために立ち上げたレーベルだ。

レーベル第1弾として、東京・お台場にて開催される都市型ダンスミュージック・フェスティバル「ULTRA JAPAN」での初来日が決定しているオランダ人DJ、ニッキー・ロメロの来日記念盤「PROTOCOL PRESENTS: NICKY ROMERO -SPECIAL JAPAN EDITION-」と、タワーレコード限定コンピレーション「EDM MAXX presents: NO EDM, NO LIFE.」の2タイトルを9月2日に発売することが発表された。

V.A.「TOMORROWLAND 2015 - MELODIA」
さらに10月7日には、世界三大EDMフェスのひとつと呼ばれるベルギーの巨大野外フェス「TOMORROWLAND」のオフィシャル・コンピレーション「TOMORROWLAND 2015 – MELODIA」のリリースも決定している。

このほか「avex EDM」には、世界DJランキングで2年連続No.1を獲得したハードウェルや、オランダ国王即位式でのDJが話題となったアーミン・ヴァン・ブーレン、世界No.2 DJ、ディミトリ・ヴェガス＆ライク・マイク、W＆W、アバーヴ＆ビヨンド、シック・インディビデュアルズ、ヨージ・ビオメハニカといった世界のEDMシーンを牽引する錚々たるトップ・プロデューサーが名を連ねる。
